Kaeser AS Series:
Sigma Control Basic - a simple and reliable interface offers convenient pressure control and system monitoring with status displays and service indicators.
Sigma Profile Airend - Power saving proprietary airend design delivers pressures up to 217 psig. Kaeser uses a newly designed airend for this AS series - up to 20% less energy than comparable airends.
TEFC Motor with Reduced Voltage Starter - High efficiency, totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) motors with Class F insulation are standard for long life in harsh environments.
Belt Drive with Automatic Tensioning - efficiently transfers power from motor to airend. Maintains proper tension to maximize energy efficiency, prolong belt life and simplify routine maintenance.
Efficient Separator System - a three stage separator
(ASME or CRN) combines centrifugal action and a 2 stage coalescing filter to reduce fluid carry over to 2 ppm or less. Quick release fittings, drain and fill ports are arranged for fast, and easy fluid changes from sump and cooler without any pumping device. The easy-to-read fluid level indicator can be checked without opening or stopping the compressor.
High-Efficiency Coolers with Filter Mat - provide maximum cooling resulting in approach temperatures as low as 11 degrees F for more moisture separation at the compressor discharge and better air quality. Dirt and dust build up on the outside of the filter, where it I easily seen and removed.
Kaeser ASD compressors combine the proprietary optimized Sigma Profile airend and Sigma Control system with the latest one-to-one dive technology. They also incorporate optimized designs for reducing maintenance, attenuating noise, and providing superior after cooling.
Kaeser ASD Series:
Intel Filter = a two-stage, 4 micron air intake filter which extends airend life and fluid change intervals. Easily serviced without required tools.

Efficient Separator System - ASD packages are equipped with an optimized high-efficiency separation system.
Optimized Airend for Increased Efficiency - selected oversized airends specifically matched to produce the required output in flow and pressure. Compared to compressors using small, high speed gear-driven airends, the ASD one-on-one drive provides triple savings: n-loss power transmission, improved power consumption, and reduced maintenance and related downtime costs.
One-on-one Direct Drive - reduces the number of components needed compared to a gear drive unit, increasing reliability and service life.
Motor - EPAct compliant, high-efficiency, TEFC electric drive motors with class F insulation are offered with various various voltages. Easily accessible grease fittings make maintenance a breeze.
